Alasdair joins forces with singer Bruce Davies for online show

As many of you can’t get to Scotland for your vacation this year I am going to bring Scotland to you in an online show on Zoom called A Musical Tour of Scotland.

I have teamed up with professional singer Bruce Davies who I met when he was hosting the popular Spirit of Scotland Show in Edinburgh which has been put on hold because of the Covid19 crisis.

Bruce has been a professional singer, guitarist and songwriter since 1984 and has many albums to his credit.

This interactive event on Zoom, which will feature a question and answer session at the end, will take you to many picturesque locations in Scotland captured in breath-taking photographs with me as your guide and Bruce performing songs which link to them.

The show will include the real-life stories of the legendary Bonnie Prince Charlie, William Wallace – better known a Braveheart – and the ‘Outlaw King’ Robert the Bruce and you will find out why Beatle John Lennon loved the north of Scotland.

There will also be a special guest appearance by Piper Major Andy Coulton playing the bagpipes.

I do hope you will be able to join us for the show. You can see more about it in this video and can book a ticket by going to

Alasdair prepared for guiding after the Lockdown

When Scotland reopens to tourists and to provide some re-assurance to guests I have taken part in the Good to Go scheme and received a certificate which shows I am properly prepared for taking them on tours.
